Art should be functional.
Art should be lived in.
Art belongs everywhere — in our homes, our schools, and our everyday lives.
Art Experiences & Collaborations
I offer private painting parties for all ages and collaborate with community partners — including high schools, summer camps, and assisted living facilities — to bring engaging art classes to life. My commissioned work includes canvas paintings, murals, and hand-painted furniture tailored to each client’s space and vision. Together, we design the perfect combination of theme, color, and style.

Artistic Journey
Art has been part of my life since childhood. I studied at the Art Institute of Chicago and trained with Pierre Finkelstein. In 1978, I started painting murals and furniture. When my children started school in Wilmette, IL, I became the District 39 Art Awareness Program Director, collaborating with educators to weave art into classroom learning. I organized materials, projects, and volunteer training to make art an accessible and integrated part of education. I also founded and ran an artist-in-residence program, where professional artists guided students in creating permanent installations for their schools. As a trustee and Vice President of the District 39 Educational Foundation, I championed creative learning initiatives across the district.
Continuing the Journey
After moving to Maui in 2004, I taught art classes in K–5 schools and after school programs. In 2015, I returned to the Chicago area to continue teaching including after-school programs at Stevenson High School, assisted living and memory care communities, libraries as well as seasonal summer camps at Stevenson High School and Oakton Community College.
